Reopening of GV Jurong Point with blockbuster file- The Avengers

1st May mark the day of public holiday, Labour day and also the reopening date for Jurong Point Golden Village after a $4.5 million dollar renovation that aims to bring enhanced movie-viewing experience. 

So for this one day holiday, I was lucky to be invited to witness the new transformation of the cinema and also to catch the blockbuster film- Marvel's The Avengers. The movie was damn awesome. One of the best film for 2012! If you haven't catch it yet, get down to GV to enjoy this magnificent blockbuster with good quality and sound and comfortable seats provided by GV. 

I guess to incorporate Labour day and the reopening of GV, GV was giving away free goodies to everyone who purchase tickets to any movie on 1st May.

So here were the happening events on 1st May

 As promised, there were free goodies to everyone who purchase a pair of tickets. The free goodies were free Mini Magnum. Hahas~ As for me, I got free movies and ice cream!!!

How can you watch movie without some snacks? Avengers popcorn combo is the best to go with the movie!

 And because I got a pair of free tickets, my partner for that day was my brother. A one-day-belated birthday 'present' for him.

Movie was starting and we were all invited to be seated. The renovation period was worth the wait with new awesome movie viewing experience compared to the old one. Everything seems bigger, wider, more spacious, clearer, comfy and luxurious.

I swear that the seats are damn comfortable and so so so spacious even for my long-legs brother. *more comfortable than shaw tall seats*

So GV Jurong point really did a good job in enhancing the movie viewing environment. Their new and refurbished features are:

- 6 fully digital cinema halls

- 1062 seats

- 14 wheelchair berths (thoughtful for them to care for the disable)

- Legroom space in 1.1m, compared to previous space of only 0.9m

- Stadium seating

- Wider and more luxurious Camatic cinema seats

- Wall-to-wall Spectro screens

- 7.1 Dolby Sound system with premium-grade EAW® (Eastern Acoustc Works®) speakers from the United States

- Refurbished box office, common areas, washrooms and candy bar counter
