taada~
my final project to put an end to block one..
its a pair work..
so this beautiful work piece was done by me and YAH HOON, my partner..
ok.. its a real hard piece..
i spent sleepless of nights collaborating on my ideas, designs and concept...
what a hard work...
so i told my partner, no matter wad...
tis piece must get an A or at least a B+...
so days and nights we have been mugging and screwing on this wonderful work of ours..
hard time, i have to say..
but indeed up to satisfactory..
contemplate on our piece..
isn't it fabulous and ravishing..
applause for myself and YAH HOON...
for tis, i'm definitely proud of myself..
and oso..
we are supposed to use the final piece and transform it into an apparel item...
so there, we have manage to 'make it' into a long skirt...
brilliant idea i must say...
of course there must be a name for our piece..
so my partner had decided to named it 'Secret Garden'..
a very fantasy name..
so name, from my partner and concept from me..
tis is a type out of my concept..

" Concept
We got the inspiration of the flower motifs from a Chinese traditional art; paper cutting. Paper cutting method usually shows the delicate curves and lines of the design. The center of the motif is a peony which brings the design more to the Chinese cultural state. This is because, peony is China's national flower. The motif that surround the spiral pattern of the tie dye piece gives a very harmony ambience. The butterflies which were added into the piece not only give more colours to it but also show the flow hich indicates freedom. Overall of the final piece, it gives a heart-warming and a jubilant atmosphere to the audience."

ok i rushed tis concept the day itself, few hrs before the submission..
cos i rushed tis till 3 am which was early in the morning of 15 may...
and i only slept for 3 hrs before i woke up again for sch...
so its rather crappy and funny for my concept..
but my partner said it was rather good..
hahas.. thnx..

so 9 am was time for submission...
my procedure, final big piece and sample piece all up nicely..
and all our work will be hang up at design space for the parent night tat day..
sadly my parent don wanna come when i asked them to come..

mom said: aiyo~ so far.. an hr plus trip, i rather sleep at home...
dad said:wait till i noe how to get to your sch..

lol.. their excuses...


so at design space..
a corner for textile manipulation and design..
where our best work will be display for the parents to see..
sadly, other then my final piece..
i could only find my tie dye piece..
my silk screen and batik were no where to be found..
nvm... i'm still proud of my work...
its just tat someone don appreciate it only..

i admire tis piece which was done by ZHI YANG and JESSIE... a very colourful and detailed piece..


ok.. in the end my work was put beside the yr 2 project...
so me and my partner, yup and WILSON (lecturer assistant) were admiring and commenting on the yr 2 work..
their project pieces were on lingerie...
so the 3 of us were giving comments and the pieces tat we like...
i preferred the first and second pieces ( from the left)..
but best i'll like the second one..
the first one is nice but abit complicated..
oso the last one, silver colour piece, i quite like tat too...
my partner too have the same comment as i do..
and WILSON, he like the last piece (silver colour piece)..
these 4 pieces entered a competition...

there were oso some head accessories to go with each piece on the table..
so wilson took the accessory which was tgt with the 3rd piece( frm the left)..
and he wore it..
the owner of that whole piece shouted at wilson..
"put it down"
he (the designer of the 3rd piece, name shall not be mention), screamed across the design space..
me and partner were stunned at his reaction towards WILSON..
how rude! that was wad i tot.. arrogant too...
he shld at least show some respect to wilson...
dunno wad's his prob...
usually ppl admire ur work, they will want to take a closer look at it...
if u don like ppl to admire ur work den don put it on display...
even if u are the best student..
u shld learn to be humble and respectful...
tis kind of student is a failure one..
everybody will agree with tat needless to say...

so words from me...
dude! learn to be humble, if not u are jus a rotten one where ppl praise u on ur face and spit at u on ur back...
