I'M SUPER BUSY!!
BELLS RINGING IN MY HEAD..
ARGHHH!!
ok.. textile fundamental module is ending soon...
real soon..
cos tis is the last week for textile fund.
wednesday and thursday, no sch days..
cos we need to stay at home to complete our final project for submission on Friday...
so Friday, initially a weekend for me..
now no more..
cos i need to make a trip down from JURONG all the way to TAMPINES jus to hand up my final project...
tis given 2 days 'holiday'..
which means i'm gonna start rushing my final project..
see how busy i am..
projects after projects..
few days ago i jus finished on my factory report...
its killing me..
my dearest partner YAH HOON again..
she's nice..
very soft spoken girl..
i'm so happy to have her as a partner for so many pair projects...
cos she's not like those kind who is alway hack care bout work..
or those kind who neva like to contribute..
so was quite lucky to have such good partner...
OMG..
dark circles forming...
all becos of my stupid report...
you'll neva noe how mad i was...
friday which was 19 JUNE..
we visited the South Asia Textile Lanka industries at kranji loop...
eye opening indeed to see how fabric are made and processed...
but the bad thing about it was...
hot sun scorching..
heat and steam from all the processing machines...
loud chucking noise from the machineries which will den convert to heat...
so basically that place is jus like an OVEN..
HOT HOT HOT...
the yarns on the bobbins ready to be knitted into fabric..
tis is the circular knitting machine...
the so called 'tour guide'...
who brought us round the factory and explained the process of knitting the fabric to dyeing...
a very nice guy who sweat with us...
a very interesting notice which was hang on the circular knitting machine...
it was written in chinese becos mainly workers there are from china...
WILSON!!
he's playing again...
above all picture was taken using SLR..
cos GEORGETTE msg us a day before the trip to bring along our camera..
so i decided to bring my baby SLR...
if not it will jus be dump at a corner and rot..
so mus make good use of it...
RUIXIAN was totally amuse by my SLR...
so she took few snaps with it...
tat's RUIXIAN..
#1 by RUIXIAN
so while i was on the bus, i've got nth to do...
so i took some pictures to add to my album...
ok.. rewind back to 6 June...
arab st trip with YAH HOON, BENNY, SHIN YEE, ZHI YANG, KELLY...
we went there to get some cheap fabric for our swatches, final project...
first time there...
so that place was rather interesting...
and the pillars, there were so many drawings on it...
i saw tis van full with weighting scales...
and walk into tis lollita shop...
it shld be a punk lollita shop...
cos the costumes there look punk..
with color combination of white, red, grey and black..
interesting shop...
cos tis is my first time in a lollita shop...
i neva noe wad it was until tis year when i saw very minority ppl wearing it in my sch..
hardly ppl who live in jurong area noe wad lollita is...
and tis cute little angel bag caught my attention...
tis look abit scary to me..
but i will neva ever buy lollita...
reasons:
1)it look funny and odd wearing out..
unless you're in japan tats where lollita came from...
2)there are so many layers of fabrics...
super not suitable to wear it in Singapore where weather is so humid..
3)do u have an idea how much a dress cost without head accessory shoes and etc...
its damn ex...
one costume can cost you about a few hundred dollar..
and the head accessory itself already ranged from 50 to 100 bucks...
i rather save the money to buy myself a gucci bag...
we went back to bugis to search for other fabric...
and we bought stocking and socks ...
pic taken from the mirror of the cart shop...
left: YAH HOON, ME, SHIN YEE and BENNY..
up to 10 JUNE..
went orchard with YAH HOON, RUIXIAN and LUVENIA..
not for shopping purpose but for our assignment...
we were asked to go to any apparel store, look out for latest trend, the fabric content, whether its woven or knitted and the price...
and i'm in love with tis dress from warehouse...
but its so expensive T.T
$176 for a dress...
and it looks good on me..
i so love it... <3
to be continued...
(coming up next on 14 June post)
