My goddess

Coco Rocha

Coco Rocha is probably my one and only idol that I have admire so far. I am a kind who doesn't idolize on celebrity that easily, be it Taiwanese Star, American singer or K pop band. I think it is stupid, waste of time and money to be a hardcore fan of your idol. Only Coco, I think she is the one that worth idolizing on and you don't have to spend money or time.

She was born in Toronto, Ontario, and grew up in Richmond, British Columbia. She is of Irish, Russian, and Welsh descent. I think that explained her unique and outstanding features
Rocha is one of the few models who has spoken out against the prevalence of eating disorders in the modelling industry. In an open letter to the New York Times, Coco spoke out on her blog about the pressure the fashion industry puts on young models
"How can any person justify an aesthetic that reduces a woman or child to an emaciated skeleton? Is it art? Surely fashion’s aesthetic should enhance and beautify the human form, not destroy it."
Seriously, do you love to see stick skinny model walking on the runway with gorgeous designers' clothing and in your heart you know you cannot pull it off because you are not stick thin. Some people may think she look weird, but I think she got the best look. She's not the stick skinny kind with huge boobs, but she's the perfect kind. I really love her body and this should be the correct mindset for all young model.
Rocha married to James Conran who's a muralist, decorative painter, and designer on June 9, 2010. Her wedding dress was designed by Zac Posen! I don't think I'll ever get a chance to wear Zac Posen's design...

She recently launched Coco Rocha for Senhoa, a collection produced together with Senhoa, an organization helping Cambodian survivors of human trafficking. The capsule collection contained 7 unique pieces designed by Rocha and hand crafted by the survivors of human trafficking. All proceeds go directly back into the Senhoa program. To help raise awareness, she also get a few of her model friends to participate. She is not only beautiful on the outside but also the inside!

The below video is a short documentary film of Coco and her model friend Behati Prinsloo as they travel to Haiti after the earthquake  to deliver supplies that they gathered through their own fund-raising efforts. The 25-minute-long film was shot and edited by James Conran, her husband.

You just have to love her.
She is talented in the modeling industry.
She cares about social issues.
She helps lots of kids.
She does lots of charity works.
She is plain awesome.
She is a goddess.
